The Project SEARCH Transition-to-work program is a unique, one-year Employment Preparation Program that takes place entirely in the workplace at St Stephen’s Hospital, Hervey Bay.
The program assists young people, aged 17 – 28 years with an NDIS plan, to develop workplace skills and secure pathways into stable and rewarding employment in the open labour market.
Project SEARCH will begin at St Stephen’s Hospital on 24 March 2025 and, we are looking for 10 young people who would like to participate in this amazing program.
Project SEARCH Internships are unpaid and designed to assist interns build communication and problem-solving skills, as well as competitive work and employability skills. Our dedicated on-site team of professionals work closely with both Interns and St Stephen’s staff to deliver the program’s objectives, giving Interns the direction, instruction, advice and confidence to transition to paid employment when the program ends.
